I’ve been a big Cary Archer fan since being initially introduced to the Aussie artist earlier this year to collaborate on writing about a song of his entitled “Cut Foot.” What began as a solitary track expanded into an interview after I learned of Archer’s impending collaboration with the famed ID Labs in Pittsburgh, as well as producer Big Jerm (both very well known for work with famed rapper Mac Miller, one of my all-time favorite artists). The creator has been kind enough to keep me in his artistic orbit as he’s built up a major new chapter of music, an LP he’s intending to call Burn Them Down.
So, with that in mind, I wanted to have Archer back on the publication for a second interview just to talk about this impending project ahead. This is a loose, light, and fun conversation, with my intention being to bring back Archer again to get into the nuts and bolts of Burn Them Down as the release date gets closer (or after the record comes out). Plus, I’m on pins and needles to also do a feature on the physical vinyl version we talked about here as well as soon as I get my hands on it!
Burn Them Down is an album I’m seriously excited about (and excited for you all to hear). I’m convinced that Archer is a breakout talent, which has me dedicated to having his work heard by as many listeners as possible! I’ll also include the pre-save/pre-sale links we mentioned as soon as they’re available to link down below. Enjoy this interview, I had a lot of fun putting it together!
Pre-sale link to purchase Burn Them Down on signed, numbered vinyl with 180-gram is now available here!
